Tales of travels with West Wind, my classic powerboat built in the early 1970's. Restoration completed by July 2009 after over 2 years in slow progress.
This is Avenger Close in Chandlers Ford, near Southampton. In the 60's and 70's, this was where the Avenger Boat Company had their factory. We had lived about 5 miles away for a few years in the early naughties (long before taking ownership).
